You can now spend your Discovery Miles on a variety of products available on HP Shop.
Discovery Miles is Discovery's one rewards currency that you can earn for getting healthy, driving well and spending responsibly.
It's easy to pay with your Discovery Miles
Browse HP Shop
Choose what you want to buy in the usual way, adding the items to your cart.
Choose Discovery Miles
Go to “check out” and select to pay with Discovery Miles. Click 'Pay Now'.
Log in securely
You'll be redirected to a secure Discovery Miles page, operated by PayU. Log in with your Discovery Miles user name and password. You'll be prompted to add the one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone.
Pay using Discovery Miles and Rands
On the next screen, select the amount of Discovery Miles you would like to use to pay for your order. Your amount will show on the left.
Note: you can pay the full amount of your order with Discovery Miles. Or, if you don’t have enough Discovery Miles, you can pay the outstanding amount with your Discovery Card or any Visa or Mastercard credit card by completing the details in the credit card section.
Note your order confirmation number
After you confirm the payment, you’ll be directed to HP Shop order confirmation page, showing your order number. You will also get an SMS confirming the amount you spent at HP Shop. Your purchase will soon be ready!
Order not successful? Please go to the orders page on HP Shop and try again. Note: if you haven’t successfully paid with Discovery Miles, HP Shop will automatically cancel your order after 5 days.
Earn Discovery Miles from your first swipe
You do not need to activate Discovery Miles. Once you get your qualifying Discovery Card and activate it, we will automatically open your Discovery Miles account for you. You can start earning Discovery Miles from your first swipe.
If you're Still using your Discovery Card, issued under banking licence of FirstRand Bank Limited, you will need to activate Discovery Miles for a yearly linking fee.
What Discovery Miles can't pay for
Discovery Miles are unfortunately not available for:
- Products on pre-order: please order these separately using your Discovery Card
- Orders under R20.
