Shipping policy
At HP Shop, we’re committed to providing a seamless, reliable, and timely delivery experience to all our customers throughout South Africa. Below is an overview of our shipping process, delivery timelines, and related information.
1. Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 2 hours of receiving payment on business days.
- We do not process or deliver orders on weekends or public holidays.
- High order volumes may cause a slight delay. In such cases, we’ll contact you promptly via email or phone.
2. Delivery Time Estimates
Once dispatched, orders are typically delivered within the following timeframes:

*Delivery may be delayed due to external factors such as adverse weather, protest action, or courier capacity.
3. Shipping Rates
- Orders under R500 (incl. VAT): Flat delivery fee of R49 (incl. VAT).
- Orders over R500: Free delivery nationwide.
4. Delivery Process
- Order Confirmation: You’ll receive an email with your order number (ORDHPS) once payment is confirmed.

Shipment Notification: A follow-up email with your invoice number (INHPS) confirms that your parcel has been handed to the courier.
- Tracking: Orders can be tracked using your invoice, shipment, or order number. Updates will be sent via email or SMS.
- Couriers: We use trusted services such as The Courier Guy, DPD, and RTT.
5. Important Notes
- Stock Status: Delivery timelines apply to in-stock items. Out-of-stock items may require additional time.
- Remote Areas: Delivery to rural or outlying regions may take longer due to limited courier access.
- PO Boxes: We do not deliver to PO Box addresses. Only physical addresses within South Africa are accepted.
6. International Shipping
We currently only deliver within South Africa. Exceptions may apply to digital products such as ESD software. Please contact us for specific requests.
