December 26, 2019So much of our everyday lives are centered around the computer. We use computers to store our photos and videos, to get work done, and to communicate with our friends via the internet. None of that would be possible without the hard drive. October 20, 2019Some batteries can hold a greater voltage than others, and batteries with the larger voltage typically take longer to refill. That’s not necessarily a bad thing - when your battery holds a larger voltage, it’ll also keep your laptop powered for a longer amount of time. The other thing that affects battery charging speed is the type of connector that your laptop charger has. Most laptops use an A/C adapter to recharge the laptop. But there are other types of laptop chargers that are capable of greater power transfer, and thus, faster charging. USB-C is an ultra-fast connector that can charge your battery in a shorter amount of time. Of course, if you want to charge via USB-C you’ll have to have a laptop with a USB-C port.

October 01, 2019If you use your computer as a business or creative workstation, then you’d probably benefit from having a 2, 3, or even 4-monitor setup at your desk. But it’s not always easy to set up multiple monitors, especially if you have a tight workspace. Your computer might not have enough video ports for all your monitors, and even if it does you might be left with all sorts of tangled cables cluttering your desk. If you’re going for a multi-monitor setup, you should consider daisy-chaining your displays. Let’s review what daisy-chaining is, and how you can do it.
